Supported by several\u00a0international\u00a0conventions\u00a0and\u00a0treaties\u00a0(such as the UnitedNation&#8217;s\u00a0Universal\u00a0Declaration\u00a0of Human\u00a0Rights\u00a0in 1948), these\u00a0include\u00a0cultural,\u00a0economic, and political rights, such as right tolife, liberty,\u00a0education\u00a0and equality before\u00a0law, and right of\u00a0association, belief,\u00a0free\u00a0speech,\u00a0information, religion,\u00a0movement, and\u00a0nationality. Promulgation of these rights is not\u00a0binding\u00a0on\u00a0any\u00a0country, but they serve as a\u00a0standard\u00a0of\u00a0concern\u00a0for people and\u00a0form\u00a0the basis of many modern national\u00a0constitutions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #00ff00;\"><strong> <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #00ff00;\"><strong>The protection of fundamental human rights was a foundation stone in the establishment of the International Human Rights Administration (IHRA).\u00a0Since then, a central goal of\u00a0IHRA\u00a0has been the promotion of respect for human rights, as embodied in the\u00a0Universal Declaration of Human Rights.\u00a0The\u00a0IHRA\u00a0understands that the existence of human rights helps secure the peace, deter aggression, promote the rule of law, combat crime and corruption, strengthen democracies, and prevent humanitarian crises.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are pleased to welcome you at International Human Rights Administration\u2019s website.
